Travels through Brexitland

In May and June 2017, I travelled around Britain talking to people about Brexit, how they had voted, what it meant to them and how it had or would change their lives. While I was there, there was a general election, which returned Teresa May as prime minister, leading a Conservative government with a much reduced majority. London was also hit by a terrorist attack, the third in the country in the spring of 2017.

I tried to keep a blog while I was travelling around, but it became impossible to keep up with events. I am currently writing up the blog and the diary I kept daily into a travelogue. So watch this space for details of ‘Travels through Brexitland’ (forthcoming).

A quick word of thanks

Just in case I forget later. Thanks to everyone who put me up (and put up with me), for the beds, the food, the walks, the guided tours, the showers, the general pampering and of course the scintillating conversations about Brexit, the elections, the state of the country and the world, not to mention our kids, grandkids, parents, neighbours, etc., etc. See you all again next time.  |  Web development Elixzer Media |  Dutch translation: Elinor Fuchs  |  Copyright 2011-2021 ©
